La’au O Le Ola

A duo exhibition showcasing the astounding works of Danny Mose and Jazz Tawhai.

Danny Mose and Jazz Tawhai return to the Gallery this month with their exhibition, “La’au O Le Ola” in which they will express their current perceptions of Samoan culture against the political climate within their own community.

Furthermore, Jazzo states, “My work explores expressions of everyday life through a diasporic lens. The pieces reflect the experience of navigating today’s social and cultural landscape, and the lessons and understandings that emerge from it. Rooted in a journey of personal self-discovery and identity, the works offer glimpses of collective experience — shaped by growing up in Australia as a Samoan and Niuean person. Through memory, community, and lived experience, the works examine how these journeys influence the ways we move through and present ourselves within the world.”

Exhibition Dates: 6 August - 23 August 2026

Event Night: Saturday, 8 August 2026 | 5pm to 7pm

Bookings Required. Ticket Cost: $5 (Online Prior to the Event) or $10 (at the door)
