The artist allowed the amorphous of the clay to collide with sound waves while imprinting the finished ceramic work with an ordered chaos."

"My focus is on how light hits the subject and its surrounding environment, it reflects, refracts, cast shadows and is even absorbed in the object. My interpretation of this lights and how it reveals the colour and form of the subject and its atmosphere is my vision."

"My inspiration is the iconic old Shorncliffe pier and its fragments of pieces rusted and weathered over time. 'What Goes On Beneath the Pier' encompasses my rust investigations printing on silks, stitching and free motion embroidery and my local environment. This is me!"

"The Rainbow Lorikeet is a favourite iconic Australian bird species commonly found in many suburban backyards particularly when the pollen and nectar filled blossoms are in full bloom. AS the name implies, they have an unmistakable colourful plumage, one of the most beautiful birds in the world."

"Night Song was created while I was on a retreat in the jungle outside Ubud and is part of my wanderlust Bali collection. My inspiration was gathered from the vivid colours of the sarongs, flowers from offerings and the foliage surrounding me, all the while listening to the birds singing in the jungle as I painted."
