Still Life Drawing with Mixed Media
Beginning with a series of warm up drawing exercises you will explore a variety of ways to combine different mediums to create interesting and delightful results. Each exercise will offer the chance to try different ways to make marks and draw what you see. The final hour will be a longer drawing session to combine the different skills and materials to create a more finished drawing. The goal of this session is not to create a finished artwork but to give you the opportunity to play with different mediums and expand your repertoire.
We will be using:
Watercolours, Pencils, Oil Pastels, Ink, Pens, Wax Crayons, Collage, Paper, Acrylic, Gouache and Watersoluable Graphite.
Do I need Drawing Experience?
It is assumed that the participant has some drawing experience as this class is more about experimenting with materials than learning to draw.

Leah is a mixed media artist who is passionate about texture and is love with colour. Her artwork explores her facination with the beauty in our landscape from the detail of Australian gum flowers to the wonder of a forest and the majesty of the ocean.
